I’ve met my twin, her name is Ronnie. All the way down to the pink bunny slippers! I’m not a morning person, never have been. I must have my coffee to get started and not much gets done until I’ve had my morning caffeine! Oh course, with caffeine, I can do just about anything! This image cracks me up! While in So. Cal., a group of us hung out at Jami’s to color with Joy’s Copic markers. I could not tell you which colors I used…altho Joy could! I was matching Wild Wasabi and Purely Pomegrante. I used a flesh tone and also a grey for the faint outline.

On to the card itself: base is Wild Wasabi textured cardstock stamped with polka dots bg stamp and versamark ink,  DSP is from the Bali Breeze collection, along with purely pomegranate and white cardstock. Sentiment in punched with the designer label punch and raised with dimensionals. I consider my stamping easy peasy and one of my favorite designers is Stampin’ gal Val!

In my last post I mentioned that I just traveled to California… here is the shoebox project I brought along. This is a joy-fold card. The So Saffron layer is lifted up for the card to open. It is held in place with the scallop circle on the front. I am really enjoying the bird image, so fun to work with!

card details: cs/ink- c.chip, s.saffron, p.pomegranate, white, celery dsp. accessories: scallop circle punch, both large circle punches, corner rounder, pomegranate stitch ribbon, stamp-a-ma-jig.

This past weekend was a blast as I traveled to So.Cal to meet and see some of my online stamping friends! What a fun weekend of stamping and just all being together in one place! The weekend went by far too fast.  Jami took us all to Fabric Barn…oh my what a wonderful place to add to your addiction, I mean collection of ribbons! The picture above is of Jess and myself!
