The weather is changing here in Oregon. I am not ready for summer to leave, but with the inevitable coming I felt the need to embrace todays color challenge at SCS! The color challenge: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Really Rust! I do love the look of the three colors together; very fall’ish!

My favorite technique, I’ve decided is to watercolor and this stamp set could not be more perfect for that! My preferred method is still an aqua painter and the lid of an ink pad although I know there are several ways to do it!
Stamps: Long Time Friend, Linen BG
Cardstock: Choc. Chip, Really Rust, Baja Breeze, watercolor paper (SU)
Ink: Choc. Chip, Really Rust, Kiwi Kiss, Pumpkin Pie, Baja Breeze, and a titch of Sahara Sand for the shovel.
Accessories: scallop border punch, Piercing tool and mat, choc. chip ribbon, and bazzill stitch ribbon, dimensionals.
Thank you for stopping by today! Please let me know that you were here!

I have always loved stamping; but lately it seemed more of a chore than an enjoyment. I have a new and improved stamping studio that now includes a place to sit. No more dragging everything out to the counter and putting it all back. Thanks to my wonderful husband and his hard work, I am the proud owner of the world’s smallest stamp studio! We revamped the coat closet and it is now a small cozy place to create! I am super excited and super excited to get back to stamping more consistently!

Here is a card that I made today! I realized that going back to my love of stamping no longer limited me to only Stampin’ Up! products. I love strawberries and I love this House Mouse image!

Stamps: House Mouse, Sentiment from the So Very SU set
Cardstock: Wild Wasabi text.(love to say Wild Wasabi too!), Black, Rose Red, Watercolor paper, SU prints designer papers
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Wild Wasabi, Certainly Celery
Accessories: sm oval punch, 1″ circle punch, Designer Label Punch, aqua painter, lots of dimensionals! Pink gingham ribbon, scallop border punch, Celery brads, small circle punch

Love Love Love this stamp set! So cute! I am sure the guys will love the micro brew beer filled mug on a birthday card and us girls will love the fru fru drinks!! hmmmm, appletinis, strawberry margaritas, and pina coladas are just a few of my favorites!!

I found this delightful sketch from the blog of I {heart} 2 stamp; for which I somewhat followed. Colors used are C. Celery, new Baja Breeze and P. Pomegranate. I really love the new buttons too! I found the ribbon used at a lss. I got really lucky because I had not seen the Baja Breeze In Color in person. I think it is made by Bazzill. I am wishing I would have bought more! So far this is my favorite of the new In Colors. The center of the button is a rhinestone brad; super easy to attach the prongs through the button holes. I did end up cutting the rest of the prongs off. A little hard to see, but the coordinating sentiment is stamped in Baja Breeze on the Baja Breeze cardstock near the drink.
So what is your favorite In Color?
